Job summary

Boeing is seeking a Guidance Navigation & Control Engineer on a contract basis for an Everett, WA assignment. The engineer will design, analyze, and certify flight control systems for large aircraft, including requirements flow-down and verification under FAA/NASA guidance.

Typical responsibilities include developing GNC models, supporting test data analysis, and mentoring team members while working onsite at Boeing's Everett location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering.
• 5–7 years of technical experience working with Flight Controls.

Responsibilities

• Decompose airplane level requirements into system level requirements and further into component requirements.
• Lead system and component certification efforts with artifacts like FMEA, FTA and traceability to regulatory requirements.
• Design, analyze, and verify GNC systems to validate the overall system design.
