Boeing Commercial Airplanes in Seal Beach, CA is seeking an experienced Guidance Navigation & Control Engineer for a 1-year contract to support OoP mechanical flight controls. The role focuses on safety, FAA regulatory alignment, and cross‑functional collaboration with flight controls, structures, and supplier teams.

The position requires a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, 5+ years in mechanical flight controls, and 2+ years using CATIA V5 and ENOVIA/DELMIA. Travel up to 10% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in mechanical flight controls within aerospace.
• 2+ years with CATIA V5, ENOVIA and/or DELMIA.

Responsibilities

• Act as Responsible Engineer on COSP and SRP projects.
• Support OoP production, modifications, and engineering changes.
• Travel up to 10% domestically and internationally.
• Develop design solutions for service and fleet issues.
• Lead design reviews and present findings to leadership.
