Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking a maintenance technician to perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and modifications on the FedEx vehicle fleet and ground support equipment. Responsibilities include documenting work and maintaining inventory through FedEx computer systems, while ensuring compliance with OSHA and DOT standards.

The role also involves guiding and supporting technicians and trainees.

Qualifications

• Four (4) years fleet, automotive or truck vehicle advanced technical repair and maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of the use and operation of equipment and testing equipment, gauges and tools used for troubleshooting and repair of hydraulic, gasoline, diesel, electric, and/or hybrid motorized equipment.
• Proficient in operating a personal computer; ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and communicate with officials.

Responsibilities

• Provides timely, quality maintenance for FedEx vehicle fleet and ground support equipment.
• Documents work and maintains inventory using FedEx computer systems.
• Guides and supports a staff of technicians and trainees.
