Qualifikationen

• Associate degree or equivalent required.
• 5+ years related experience.
• 3+ years in mechanics and heavy equipment repair.
• Knowledge of DOT laws, fleet specs and industry standards.
• Strong communication skills with all levels of the org.
• Ability to lead and mentor others and manage budgets.
• Flexible work schedule as needed.

Aufgaben

• Ensure maintenance and repairs are safe, timely, and cost-effective.
• Align preventive maintenance programs and follow them.
• Perform quality control audits of repairs and services.
• Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance/repair activities.
• Conduct fleet training and development opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Prepare vehicles for transfer or disposal as appropriate.
• Manage annual cost budgets and explain variances.
• Negotiate supplier contracts and assess vendor performance.
• Coordinate with Safety on fleet-related incidents.
• Review/authorize repairs with Distribution Centers and issue POs.
• Other duties as assigned.
