Job summary

QTC Inc. seeks an experienced Mechanic / Fleet Supervisor to maintain and ensure DOT-compliant readiness of trucks, trailers, and equipment. You will perform mechanical repairs, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate maintenance and inspections.

The role combines hands-on work with coordinating DOT-related fleet needs, Hours of Service, and driver logs to keep operations safe and compliant. Strong knowledge of DOT rules and fleet maintenance is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as automotive/diesel fleet mechanic required.
• Experience maintaining commercial trucks and trailers.
• DOT/FMCSA knowledge strongly preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections on company trucks, trailers, and equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and equipment-related issues.
• Coordinate repairs with internal teams or external vendors as needed.
• Maintain maintenance schedules and ensure service within intervals.
• Ensure DOT compliance, inspections, and proper driver logs.
