Athens Services is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Technician to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in diesel and CNG fleets. You will review Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports, perform emergency roadside repairs, and ensure the fleet operates safely and efficiently.

The role requires experience in heavy truck maintenance, familiarity with DOT CHP repair processes, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Must be familiar with DOT CHP repair processes and Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
• Ability to communicate mechanical issues clearly.
• Work safely following OSHA regulations.
• Professional conduct and communication.
• Must possess personal tools.

Responsabilités

• Perform senior-level repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems.
• Perform safety inspections and checks on vehicles and equipment.
• Provide roadside emergency diagnosis and repair as directed.
• Document parts usage and repair times in required paperwork.
• Complete safety and compliance training successfully.
• Adhere to Standard Repair Times and quality standards.
