Job summary

Oak Farms Dairy is seeking a skilled diesel vehicle mechanic to perform maintenance and repairs on trucks and trailers. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, brake and suspension service, diagnostics, and coordinating with drivers to address issues.

Compliance with DOT and company safety policies is required. A high school diploma and 2–4 years of mechanic experience, plus CDL or refrigeration licenses, are preferred. Pay starts at 35.08 per hour and negotiable based on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 to 4 years of mechanic, maintenance, or related experience.
• Certification and/or License – Mechanic, CDL, refrigeration, or other relevant licenses.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic to moderately difficult vehicle maintenance, component replacements, and repairs.
• Maintain, inspect, and replace brakes, steering, suspensions, tires, and other truck components.
• Diagnose mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic equipment.
• Interact with drivers to determine nature of the complaint and coordinate repairs.
• Complete work orders and paperwork accurately while following SOPs.
