Job summary

Oak Farms Dairy seeks a capable diesel/mechanic technician to maintain and repair fleet trucks and trailers. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, brake and transmission service, and diagnosing mechanical/electrical issues with available diagnostic tools.

The role requires 1–3 years of related experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and relevant certifications or licenses (e.g., CDL). Work is performed with a team, following DOT regulations and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years mechanic/maintenance experience preferred.
• Certifications or licenses such as mechanic certification or CDL may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic vehicle maintenance, component replacements and minor repairs.
• Inspect and replace brakes, steering, tires, drivetrain, lights, and other equipment as needed.
• Diagnose minor mechanical/electrical problems using diagnostic tools.
• Complete work orders and maintain SOP-compliant documentation.
• Coordinate with drivers and supervisors to clarify issues and repair needs.
