Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking a maintenance technician to provide timely, quality maintenance for the FedEx vehicle fleet and ground support equipment. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot, repair, modify, and document work using FedEx systems while ensuring OSHA and DOT compliance.

The role includes guiding and supporting technicians and trainees, lifting up to 50 pounds, and willingness to work any shift in a busy, noisy shop environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Vocational automotive training from an accredited automotive school preferred.
• ASE Master certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely, quality maintenance for FedEx vehicle fleet and ground support equipment, including preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, modifications, and documentation.
• Document work with repair orders and parts ordering using FedEx computer systems.
• Ensure work aligns with OSHA and DOT standards.
• Guide and support a staff of technicians and trainees.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
