Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking a skilled Fleet Maintenance Technician to provide timely, quality maintenance for the FedEx vehicle fleet and ground support equipment. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot, repair, modify, and document work, while keeping accurate inventory in FedEx systems.

You will guide and support a staff of technicians and trainees, ensure compliance with OSHA and DOT standards, and work with a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Four (4) years fleet, automotive or truck vehicle advanced technical repair and maintenance experience.
• Experience with welding and basic D.C. electrical troubleshooting preferred.
• Proficient use of testing equipment, gauges and tools for hydraulic, gasoline, diesel, electric, and/or hybrid equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely, quality maintenance for FedEx vehicle fleet and ground support equipment.
• Document work and maintain inventory using FedEx computer systems.
• Guide and support technicians and trainees; ensure compliance with OSHA and DOT standards.
