Job summary

A. Duie Pyle, Inc. in the Northeast is seeking a Dedicated Fleet Supervisor to support the Custom Dedicated operation. The role focuses on maximizing vehicle uptime and managing maintenance costs.

You will coordinate maintenance, engage with account managers, and manage inventory at remote locations. Develop relationships with dealers and use fleet software to track repairs and expenses.

Travel up to 60% of the time; strong computer and communication skills required; Class A CDL a plus.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma and Industry Management Experience.
• Strong knowledge of Class 8 tractor trailer components and maintenance.
• Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic statistics.

Responsibilities

• Familiarize with each dedicated account to understand vehicle duty cycle and availability; use tools to manage maintenance.
• Engage with account managers to stay updated on equipment issues; coordinate parts/supply inventory at remote locations.
• Manage maintenance by vendor and in-house resources; coordinate repairs and communicate through fleet maintenance managers or shop leads.
• Develop relationships with dealers and vendors to obtain premium service; review proposed work and approve costs; perform inspections.
• Learn and use fleet maintenance software to track repairs and measure effectiveness.
• Coordinate rental of equipment for the Dedicated operation; assist with servicing processes; reconcile rental invoices.
• Inspect and evaluate customer fleet during acquisition.
