Job summary

High Transit is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team of 10-15 technicians across multiple shifts, ensuring preventive maintenance, repairs, and safety compliance for a large fleet. The role reports to the Fleet Maintenance Manager and collaborates with the Shipping department to maximize uptime.

Responsibilities include assigning duties, maintaining timecards, coaching staff, and coordinating with the Asset Manager on equipment replacement.

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school plus course work in auto/equipment mechanics at a trade school and three (3) years’ experience as a lead mechanic or equivalent combination.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Google Documents, and SAP applications.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise fleet maintenance personnel across shifts.
• Coordinate planned and emergent maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime.
• Oversee preventive maintenance program compliance and PM scheduling in SAP.
