Job summary

XPO is seeking a Shop Manager in Oklahoma to lead a maintenance team across multiple service centers. You’ll hire, mentor, schedule and develop staff, while driving safety, quality and productivity in daily operations.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in fleet maintenance, a valid license, and ASE certifications with CDL preferred. Expect diverse shifts and opportunities to influence efficiency and service levels across the network.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in fleet maintenance.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Current ASE certifications preferred.
• Current CDL preferred.
• LTL experience is advantageous.
• Willingness to work days, evenings, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Manage maintenance team and contingent workers; hire, mentor, schedule, train, promote or discipline as needed.
• Oversee equipment maintenance and out-of-service equipment at shop and remote centers.
• Facilitate Job Selection/Shift Bid process for shop employees.
• Ensure maintenance work orders and commercial orders are completed accurately and on time.
• Maintain inventory control within defined thresholds and conduct cycle counts.
• Analyze parts usage, shortages and uptime to maximize shop efficiency.
• Monitor safety, service quality, efficiency and maintenance compliance.
• Ensure adherence to company procedures and DOT policies by all shop staff.
