Job summary

SkyChefs Seattle Operations is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance across the region, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance with USDA, TSA, DOT, and related standards, and maximizing reliability.

You will manage external vendors and internal technicians, oversee budgets, and drive improvements using CMMS systems like EBIS, Maintainx, and Fleetio, while coordinating with operations and quality teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent knowledge preferred.
• 5–7 years of fleet management experience required.
• Knowledge of OSHA, GMP, FDA, USDA and EPA regulations.
• Must be able to obtain a CDL within 180 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead fleet maintenance operations across the assigned region, ensuring optimal vehicle reliability, safety, and performance.
• Manage relationships with external maintenance providers, contractors, and equipment vendors to ensure timely, cost-effective service delivery.
• Oversee preventive maintenance programs and repair schedules, ensuring all required maintenance activities are planned, executed, and tracked effectively.
• Develop, manage, and control fleet maintenance budgets, identifying variances and implementing corrective actions as needed.
