Job summary

Republic Services in Minnesota is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Supervisor to lead a maintenance shop, oversee a team of technicians, and ensure preventive maintenance and repairs on trucks, containers, and heavy equipment are performed safely and to company standards.

You will schedule work, monitor performance, conduct daily shop huddles, train staff, and manage inventory and expenses within approved budgets. The role requires ASE certifications and supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in maintenance with heavy equipment.
• 1 year of supervisory experience in lead technician or management role.
• Ability to manage payroll and maintenance records.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction to lead technicians and ensure safe, efficient repairs.
• Monitor performance and optimize repair scheduling.
• Oversee shop inspections and quality control.
• Maintain inventory control and budget adherence.
• Coach and train staff; conduct performance evaluations.
