Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Supervisor to lead a maintenance shop responsible for preventive maintenance and repair of heavy equipment, trucks, and containers. You will direct technicians, ensure safety, and optimize shop performance on-site at our Philadelphia facilities.

The role requires experience in heavy equipment maintenance, supervisory responsibilities, and ASE certifications. You will manage budgets, inspect repairs, and coach staff to meet safety and regulatory

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in maintenance with heavy equipment.
• 1 year of supervisory experience in a lead technician role or equivalent management position requiring safety knowledge.
• ASE Certification and listed ASE T-level qualifications (T2 Diesel, T3 Drive, T4 Brake, T5 Suspension, T6 Electrical, T7 HVAC).

Responsibilities

• Provide direction to lead technicians to ensure safe, efficient maintenance and repair.
• Monitor performance and redirect activities to improve efficiency.
• Report on performance and recommend process improvements.
• Supervise shop technicians, conduct daily huddles, coaching, training, and performance evaluations.
• Inspect outside repairs for safety and compliance with regulations.
