Job summary

The NC Department of Transportation seeks an experienced administrator to direct the fleet procurement and material management program. Responsibilities include managing Upfit Shop prototypes, telematics planning, and annual reporting on equipment volumes and inventory for senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with five years' experience in the program area.
• Two years of supervisory program experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may apply.

Responsibilities

• Direct fleet procurement for 200+ equipment classes.
• Oversee Upfit Shop prototype builds and final sign-off.
• Develop annual reports on equipment and parts flow.
• Coordinate with FMMU leadership, divisions, and vendors.
