Job summary

Global Crossing Airlines is seeking a Fleet Engineer to ensure safety, reliability, and performance of the fleet. You will provide expert technical support for engines and airframes, assist with AOG recovery, and guide engineering challenges.

The role requires leadership experience, ability to manage cross-functional teams, and in-depth knowledge of engine and airframe reliability, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience/training.
• 7 years of leadership experience overseeing large workgroups with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines and maintain safety.
• Experience managing reliability of products (engines, components, airframes).
• Ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Be an active member of the technical operations team and assist with AOG, technical advice and supporting engine and airframe repairs.
• As a fleet engineer, interface with OEMs, Flight and Technical Operations.
• Participate in on-site repairs, accident investigation and support team.
• Provide technical guidance for avionics installation.
