Job summary

Adams Beverages Nc Llc is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Manager in Birmingham, AL, to oversee MHE and vehicle fleets, ensuring safe, compliant, and cost-effective maintenance across warehousing operations.

The role requires strong vendor management, budgeting, and maintenance planning skills, with collaboration across internal teams and external vendors. This is a salary-exempt, full-time position reporting to the COO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in facilities/fleet maintenance management.
• Proven experience in vendor management, contract negotiation, and budget management.
• Strong understanding of maintenance practices, safety regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in maintenance management software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and select vendors for maintenance and repair services for MHE and fleet.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors for cost-effectiveness and quality.
• Monitor vendor performance through reviews, site visits, and KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Develop preventive maintenance programs and coordinate with vendors to minimize downtime.
• Manage budget for fleet maintenance and track costs for efficiency.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field

Five+ years of experience in facilities and/or fleet maintenance management
