Job summary

CMK Resources, Inc. is seeking a FlashArray & FlashBlade Storage Engineer to support a rapidly expanding cloud infrastructure in downtown San Francisco.

You will be a trusted technical advisor, offering hands-on expertise across enterprise storage technologies while optimizing performance, automation, and scalability. The role requires deep Linux administration, KVM virtualization, and experience with ActiveCluster and object storage workloads.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on Everpure FlashArray experience (block storage, replication, security, REST APIs).
• Hands-on Everpure FlashBlade experience (file storage, unstructured data, S3).
• Experience with FlashArray ActiveCluster, including synchronous replication and HA.
• Strong Linux administration, multipathing, storage networking.
• Experience with_KVM virtualization environments.
• Knowledge of iSCSI, NVMe/TCP, NFS and S3 protocols.
• Scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, Ansible, REST APIs).
• Excellent written and verbal communication; customer-facing consulting.
• Ability to lead technical discussions and provide strategic recommendations.
• Comfortable collaborating with distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Configure and optimize Everpure FlashArray/FlashBlade environments.
• Manage FlashArray provisioning, replication, security, performance, and capacity.
• Configure FlashArray ActiveCluster with synchronous replication.
• Support FlashBlade file and S3-compatible object storage workloads.
• Provide guidance on features, architecture, and best practices.
• Perform non-disruptive upgrades with minimal impact.
• Monitor storage performance, latency, throughput, and health.
• Integrate storage with Linux-based infrastructure.
• Support storage with KVM virtualization and containers.
• Troubleshoot storage connectivity across iSCSI and NVMe/TCP.
• Collaborate with infra teams on workload placement and resilience.
• Understand networking configurations affecting storage operations.
