A Day in the Life:

The Senior Fixed Operations Manager partners with Nissan dealerships to drive exceptional customer experience, retention, profitability, and brand loyalty across Parts, Service, and Accessories (APS) operations. This role serves as a trusted consultant to dealership leadership, providing operational, financial, and strategic guidance to improve performance, increase sales effectiveness, and enhance customer satisfaction. The position supports 8–19 dealerships within an assigned district and collaborates closely with regional, district, and corporate stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
Dealer Operations & Performance Consulting
  • Conduct regular dealership visits to assess Parts, Service, and Accessories operations.
  • Develop and implement action plans to improve customer experience, retention, profitability, and operational efficiency.
  • Coach dealership leadership on industry best practices, process improvements, staffing, sales effectiveness, and operational performance.
  • Promote and implement Nissan/Infiniti programs, technologies, tools, and core aftersales processes.
Customer Experience & Retention
  • Evaluate dealership performance using Nissan’s customer-focused principles of Convenience, Quality, Competitiveness, Transparency, and Friendliness.
  • Support customer satisfaction initiatives and CSI improvement efforts.
  • Identify customer service gaps and implement corrective actions to enhance retention and loyalty.
  • Partner with dealership teams to improve service processes, communication, follow-up practices, and overall customer experience.
Financial & Business Performance
  • Analyze dealership financial statements, operational metrics, and key performance indicators to identify growth opportunities.
  • Recommend strategies to improve fixed operations profitability, fixed absorption rates, return on sales, and overall dealership performance.
  • Monitor inventory management, cash flow, capacity utilization, staffing, and sales effectiveness.
  • Present business cases demonstrating the financial impact of Nissan/Infiniti programs and initiatives.
Parts, Service & Accessories Growth
  • Drive APS sales growth through improved sales processes, marketing effectiveness, inventory optimization, and customer retention strategies.
  • Promote parts loyalty programs, wholesale parts growth, accessory sales, and service lane opportunities.
  • Monitor dealership readiness to support emerging technologies, including EVs, commercial vehicles, and specialty products.
Marketing & Program Implementation
  • Align dealership marketing, CRM, digital platforms, and customer outreach efforts with Nissan regional and national initiatives.
  • Support implementation of new programs, technologies, and promotional campaigns.
  • Evaluate marketing effectiveness and recommend improvements to maximize return on investment.
Dealer Network & Market Support
  • Assist with market representation initiatives, dealership openings, closings, and operational transitions.
  • Monitor compliance with dealer agreements, policies, and performance standards.
  • Support regional and national events, dealer meetings, and brand promotion activities.
  • Maintain awareness of market conditions, competitive activity, and dealership network opportunities.
Who We’re Looking for:

Required:

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Automotive Management, or related field required.
Experience
  • Minimum 6 years of progressive automotive sales, aftersales, marketing, operations, or dealer development experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of analytical experience supporting dealership operations, customer experience, marketing, warranty, pricing, market analysis, parts and service, or related automotive functions.
  • Minimum 2 years in a dealership-facing field role such as Fixed Operations Manager (FOM), Fixed Service Manager (FSM), Dealer Operations Manager (DOM), Wholesale District Manager (WDM), or equivalent dealer support position.
  • Experience influencing dealership performance and implementing operational improvement initiatives.
  • Previous leadership, coaching, or sales responsibility preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Strong understanding of automotive dealership fixed operations, including Parts, Service, and Accessories.
  • Ability to analyze financial statements, operational metrics, and performance data to drive business results.
  • Excellent consulting, coaching, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven ability to influence dealership leadership and gain commitment to change.
  • Strong organizational, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and dealership reporting systems.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in a virtual environment.
  • Results-oriented with strong customer focus and business acumen.
Travel Requirements
  • Extensive travel required (75%+), including frequent overnight travel.
  • Must reside within the assigned district.

Salary Range:

$97,745.00 - $172,830.00
