BinaryBees Business Solutions LLC in Des Moines, IA seeks a Senior Fixed Income and Derivative Portfolio Manager to oversee a broad desk including derivatives, Treasuries, and MBS. You will identify trading opportunities, manage risk and interact with brokers and internal stakeholders to drive best execution and strategic outcomes.

The role requires seven years of investment experience, a finance-related degree, and strong proficiency with SQL, Bloomberg and other analytical tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, statistics, or related field.
• MBA and/or CFA designation preferred.
• Minimum seven (7) years of investment experience.
• Extensive knowledge of markets, finance, and banking principles.
• Proficiency with analytical tools used in trading and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates in-depth knowledge covering derivatives, Treasuries, agencies, and mortgage-backed securities.
• Identify and execute trading opportunities across all desk areas focusing on best execution, relative value and risk/reward.
• Understand accounting rules (ASC 815) and related regulations affecting trading strategies.
• Interact with Bank staff, brokers, and system users on trade-related activities.
• Design and discuss strategic opportunities and drive risk mitigation solutions.
• Prepare treasury and portfolio analysis for senior leadership and committees.
• Operate Bloomberg, TradeWeb, MarkitWire, PolyPaths, Principia, and related systems.
• Provide mentorship and leadership to team members.
