Job summary

PC Recruiter seeks a Senior Fixed Income and Derivative Portfolio Manager to join their team in Des Moines, IA. You will earn a starting salary up to $185,000 per year, based on your experience, with an excellent company benefits package.

Work Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm, 100% on-site in the office. Responsibilities include identifying and executing trading opportunities across the desk (derivatives, Treasuries, Agencies, Fed Funds, etc.), ensuring compliance with regulations, preparing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, statistics, accounting, or related.
• MBA and/or CFA designation preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of investment experience.
• Extensive knowledge of SQL, Bloomberg, TradeWeb, Intex, PolyPaths and more.
• Extensive knowledge of the markets.
• Advanced understanding of fixed income analysis, mortgage prepayment behavior, and derivative pricing.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Identifying and executing trading opportunities and risks across the desk including derivatives and Treasuries.
• Demonstrating knowledge across derivatives, Advances, Treasuries, Agencies, Fed Funds, etc.
• Participating in decision making and implementation of strategic initiatives.
• Ensuring compliance with bank regulations and treasury policies.
• Preparing presentations for senior leadership and board with insights into treasury reports.
• Providing mentorship and leadership to team members.
• Operating with systems such as Bloomberg, MarkitWire, TradeWeb.
