Job summary

Jobot Consulting is seeking an experienced Manager - Fixed Assets to lead our client's fixed assets portfolio, emphasizing end-to-end asset lifecycle management and strong governance. The ideal candidate has a solid background in fixed asset accounting, capital projects, and a track record of improving financial performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA/CMA preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of fixed asset accounting experience, preferably in energy.
• Extensive knowledge of Oracle Fusion and its fixed asset applications.
• Expertise in capital projects management; ability to plan and monitor such projects.
• Proficiency in impairment analysis and risk mitigation for assets.
• Strong understanding of asset lifecycle management and optimization of asset value.
• Excellent leadership and team development capabilities.
• Strong analytical and communication skills for financial storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the fixed assets portfolio, including capital projects execution and monitoring.
• Implement and maintain best practices in fixed asset accounting and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct regular impairment analyses to assess asset value and risks.
• Utilize Oracle Fusion to manage fixed assets and provide accurate reporting.
• Lead the asset lifecycle processes from acquisition to disposal to optimize value.
• Collaborate with departments to provide financial insights on fixed assets.
• Develop strategies for asset maintenance and replacement with financial impact in mind.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the fixed assets team.
