Alts is seeking a dynamic Fitter/Tailor in New York City to build client relationships and support the tailor shop manager. You will conduct fittings, sew on the machine, and create a welcoming studio environment.

Applicants should possess 7–10 years of alteration tailoring experience as well as proficiency in English. This full-time role offers a competitive salary ranging from $18 to $35 per hour based on skill level and classification of tailoring work.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of alteration tailoring experience required.
• 2–3 years of general fitting experience required.
• 1 year of fitting both men's and women's garments required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional, warm studio environment.
• Conduct fittings according to the Alteration Specialists Standard.
• Build relationships with clients and influencers.
• Demonstrate meeting personal production targets.
