Job summary

ElderFIT, LLC is actively seeking a Personal Trainer in Honolulu, HI to deliver in-home or virtual training for seniors. You will assess fitness levels and tailor programs to enhance strength, balance, and mobility while supporting independence.

Trainers set their own schedule with flexible hours, receive mileage reimbursement for eligible in-home sessions, and build long-term relationships with clients and their families in the Honolulu area.

Qualifications

• Active personal trainer certification from an NCCA-approved program or equal degree in kinesiology/exercise science.
• A passion for helping seniors live healthier and more independent lives.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, one-on-one personal training sessions for seniors in homes or virtually.
• Perform fitness assessments and design individualized programs based on goals, health history, and abilities.
• Improve strength, balance, mobility, and daily activity performance; modify exercises as needed.
