Job summary

Qualifications

• Active PT certification from an NCCA-approved program or a degree in kinesiology or related field.
• Passion for working with seniors to improve independence.
• Reliable transportation to clients' homes and ability to travel throughout Seattle area.
• CPR/AED certification must be current.
• Maintain active professional liability insurance that covers personal training services.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, one-on-one personal training sessions for seniors, in-home or virtual via video calls.
• Perform fitness assessments and create individualized programs based on goals, health history, and abilities.
• Improve strength, balance, mobility, flexibility, endurance, and daily activity confidence.
• Modify exercises for injuries or changing abilities.
• Maintain session notes and communicate progress via the ElderFIT platform.
