Job summary

The Judicial Council of California is accepting applications for the position of Fiscal Supervisor within the Budget Services office. The Fiscal Supervisor oversees the Court Support unit and is responsible for planning, organizing, supervising, and evaluating staff who support statewide budget activities for the 58 trial courts.

The role ensures accurate budget development, revenue administration, collections, and distribution processes, while maintaining compliance with statutes and policies

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field with five years of professional experience in accounting, finance, budget analysis, or contract administration
• One year supervisory experience required or equivalent supervisory training within six months of promotion
• Desirable qualifications include leadership, communication, and experience with state budget processes

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, supervise, and evaluate staff supporting statewide budget activities
• Oversee budget development, revenue administration, enhanced collections, and revenue distribution processes
• Ensure compliance with statutes, Judicial Council policies, and fiscal management requirements
