Employee Relations Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced First-Party Property Litigation Attorney to join our San Francisco practice. The role emphasizes litigation support, case management, and execution, with potential business-development growth over time.

A strong litigator with the ability to independently handle sophisticated matters is preferred. The ideal candidate will have first-party property insurance experience or transferable civil litigation expertise, and must collaborate

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Active California Bar license in good standing.
• Strong litigation experience with substantive case-management responsibility.
• First-party property insurance experience strongly preferred.
• Transferable insurance, commercial, construction, or complex civil litigation backgrounds may be considered.
• Strong deposition, motion practice, discovery, negotiation, and trial preparation experience.
• Exceptional legal writing and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative team.

Responsabilités

• Manage first-party property insurance and related civil litigation matters.
• Develop and execute case strategy.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Manage written discovery and expert-related issues.
• Draft motions, briefs, pleadings, and other substantive legal filings.
• Prepare for and participate in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
• Collaborate with attorneys and firm leadership on complex matters.
• Maintain strong communication with clients.
• Provide high-quality legal analysis and strategic recommendations.
• Develop greater client and referral responsibilities over time.
