Eight Sleep is seeking a Senior Firmware Engineer to advance Pod hardware, joining a small autonomous team with direct product impact. You’ll work on sensors, peripherals, and robust testing across a fleet of devices.

You will collaborate with hardware teams, support OTA firmware updates, and engage with manufacturing partners in China, while thriving in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment that values autonomy and ownership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on firmware in C/C++ and client or test tooling in Python or NodeJS.
• Developing for compute-constrained and low-memory environments; skilled in peripheral drivers and communication protocols.

Responsibilities

• Pioneer cutting-edge sensor technologies and bring them into Pod hardware.
• Own prototyping, drive efficient designs, and implement production hardware solutions.
