Job summary
SR2 | Socially Responsible Recruitment | Certified B Corporation™ is seeking a firmware engineer to design embedded control systems for DC-DC converters and power management on an autonomous defense platform. You will develop firmware from silicon to system on a compact team, bringing up hardware and iterating to ship reliable software.

Qualifications
- 3+ years of embedded firmware development with power electronics.
- Experience with digital control of DC-DC converters, inverters, or power management systems.
- Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems and experience with microcontrollers such as STM32, TI C2000, or similar.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement embedded firmware in C/C++ for digital control of power electronics systems, including DC-DC converters, voltage regulation, and power distribution.
- Use simulation tools such as SPICE and MATLAB/Simulink to model, validate, and optimize control systems prior to hardware implementation.
- Partner with electrical engineers to bring up and validate power electronics hardware; perform lab debugging and validation under various load conditions.
- Improve efficiency, stability, and thermal performance of power systems through firmware optimization and continuous iteration.
