Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS), a division of Amphenol Corporation, is seeking a Firmware Engineer in Nashua, NH to join our on-site software team. You will design, develop, and support firmware for active high-speed IO cables and thermal loopbacks used in telecom/datacom applications.

You will work with hardware engineers and manufacturing to turn concepts into manufacturable products, debug firmware, and provide support for qualification, testing and ramp-up.

Qualifikationen

• BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering with 5+ years firmware experience.
• Experience with ARM Cortex-M0/M0+ and sub 32KB Flash embedded systems.
• Strong I2C bus understanding and debugging.
• Experience with CMIS host interfaces and page-based I2C slaves.
• Familiarity with SWD debugging and source control practices.
• Strong written and spoken English; team collaboration.

Aufgaben

• Design, develop, debug and support firmware for high-speed cables and thermal loopbacks.
• Contribute to product teams turning concepts into manufacturable products.
• Support team on tuning communication settings and interfaces.
• Collaborate with manufacturing applications developers.
• Provide firmware support for qualification, testing, and ramp-up.
• Mentor teammates and ensure thorough firmware documentation.
• Visit manufacturing plants during ramp-up as needed.
