Job summary

The role requires 5+ years of firmware experience, strong ARM Cortex-M0/M0+ knowledge, and hands-on experience with I2C/SPI, SWD debugging, and Keil/Visual Studio toolchains.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering with 5+ years of firmware experience.
• Hands-on ARM Cortex-M0/M0+ firmware development on small Flash devices.
• Strong English reading and writing abilities; good communication.
• Experience with I2C, CMIS, and host interfaces for I2C Slaves.
• Proficient in SWD debugging and performing code reviews.
• Familiar with SVN, Keil, and Visual Studio.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, debug and support firmware for active high speed IO cables and thermal loopbacks.
• Collaborate with product teams to turn high speed IO cable concepts into manufacturable products.
• Provide engineering support to fine tuning of communication settings and interfaces.
• Work with manufacturing applications and participate in product ramp up.
• Mentor other team members and ensure firmware is well documented.
• Visit Amphenol manufacturing plants during product ramp up, as needed.
