Job summary

Andrews Cooper Technology LLC is seeking a Senior Firmware Engineer to develop firmware for consumer, commercial, and medical devices across multiple locations. You will distill customer requirements into software architecture and design, and perform comprehensive unit and functional testing to ensure robust performance.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of hands-on firmware experience, strong C/C++ skills, and familiarity with RTOS (Zephyr, VxWorks, FreeRTOS). Travel up to 20% may be required.

Qualifications

B.S. in Computer Science or related field; MSCS is a plus.
7+ years of hands-on firmware engineering experience.
Experience with embedded C/C++ and debugging embedded systems.

Responsibilities

Develop firmware for consumer, commercial, and medical devices.
Translate customer requirements into software requirements, architecture and design.
Perform unit and functional testing.
