Job summary

Andrews Cooper is seeking a Senior Firmware Engineer to design and implement embedded software for consumer, medical, and industrial devices. You will translate customer requirements into software architecture and drive unit and functional testing in a multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in firmware, strong C/C++, experience with I2C/SPI/UART/USB, and hands-on use of debugging tools. Travel up to 20% and eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship are required.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience; MSCS is a plus.
• 7+ years of professional hands-on Firmware Engineering.
• Experience developing embedded applications in C or C++.
• Experience with embedded protocols like I2C, SPI, UART and USB.
• Experience debugging embedded systems with debuggers, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
• Experience with software testing techniques such as unit testing.
• Up to 20% travel may be required.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Background checks are required.
