AMD, a leader in high-performance computing, seeks a Sr. Firmware Engineer in Santa Clara, CA. You will research, design, develop, and test OS-level software, compilers, and network distribution tools for semiconductor operations.

You’ll work on embedded firmware, hardware compatibility, and systems software essential to AMD products. The role emphasizes cross-disciplinary engineering, debugging, and delivering reliable firmware across cutting-edge platforms.

Formación

• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Position requires two (2) years of experience in the job offered or a closely related engineering role.
• Two years of experience in C, C++, or Python; embedded driver and firmware development; high speed memory interfaces.

Responsabilidades

• Research, design, develop, and/or test OS-level software, compilers, and/or network distribution software for semiconductor operations.
• Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug computer software for electronic device hardware; develop software/tools for electronic design and infrastructure.
• Apply knowledge of engineering principles to AMD systems and products; determine hardware compatibility and influence hardware design.
