Job summary

SCRAM Systems, a leading provider of alcohol and location monitoring technology, seeks an experienced engineering professional to design and enhance electronics and firmware for new and existing products in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes applying rigorous development practices, regulatory awareness, and collaboration with Marketing, Sales, and Production to improve reliability, reduce costs, and accelerate product delivery.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, implement and test electronics and firmware on assigned projects.
• Create technical Product Requirements from Marketing requirements.
• Create Project Plans including schedules with milestones and time estimates.
• Use Product Development Process and standard tools with design reviews throughout.
• Design new and innovative products and improvements to reduce costs and improve performance.
• Utilize Rapid Prototype techniques to create mock-ups for Marketing and Sales validation.
• Provide Engineering support to Sales, Customer Service and Marketing.
• Support Production with manufacturability improvements and vendor qualification.
