Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Firmware Engineer for the Manufacturing Test team to develop platforms interacting with products at the lowest levels (I2C, SPI, CAN, UART, USB). You will build features for embedded Linux, RTOS, and bare-metal environments and ensure high-quality product testing through automation and analytics.

The role requires strong C coding for embedded systems, experience with sensors, and the ability to debug across electrical and software domains. Eligible for U.S.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in CS/CE/EE or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Strong C coding for embedded systems and debugging.
• Experience with bare-metal, RTOS, and embedded Linux.
• Familiarity with USB, SPI, I2C, CAN, RS232, RS485, Ethernet.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Build low-level firmware/software for microcontroller platforms interfacing to robots.
• Develop features for tests and data acquisition tools.
• Validate system-level features via SSH, gRPC, and debug tooling.
• Debug across electrical, firmware, and software domains for automation and test SOPs.
• Collaborate in DFT/DFM reviews with EE and firmware teams.
