Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience developing embedded software and firmware.
• Strong proficiency in C (C++ preferred) with production firmware experience.
• Hands-on experience designing, developing, and maintaining embedded Linux systems.
• Experience using Yocto Project to create, customize, and maintain embedded Linux distributions.
• Experience with embedded ecosystems such as RDK, broadband gateways, or connected devices.
• Proven ability to collaborate across hardware, software, QA, product and cloud teams.
• Ability to mentor engineers and lead technical initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Firmware development for XM4, Blackbird, and BigBuddy initiatives.
• Collaborates with PES, mobile, QA, and cloud teams for integration.
• Mentors teammates including junior engineers and supports onboarding.
• Drives CI/CD pipeline improvements and firmware standardization.
• Architects self-contained microservices or APIs to support business needs.
• Partnering with cross-functional teams to define product and technical requirements.
