Job summary

EY is seeking a Firewall Operations Solution Architect/Network Sensing Analyst to deploy, configure, and manage firewall and network sensing solutions across client environments. You will monitor security events, investigate incidents, and collaborate with incident response teams to uphold network integrity.

The role emphasizes hands-on firewall management with Checkpoint and Tufin, experience with Splunk, ITIL processes, and strong communication to support audits and security improvements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, cybersecurity, or related field preferred.
• 2-3 years in network security operations with focus on firewall management.
• Hands-on experience with firewall products required.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, security principles, and best practices.
• Experience with Checkpoint and Tufin, Splunk, Netography, and ITIL processes.
• Relevant certifications (CISSP, Security+) are a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Configure, manage, and optimize firewall solutions to establish effective security controls.
• Monitor network traffic and security events to identify threats and vulnerabilities.
• Analyze security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and remediation.
• Collaborate with incident response teams to investigate and respond to incidents.
• Develop and maintain firewall policies and documentation for compliance.
• Support security audits and assessments and promotion of security standards.
• Stay current with emerging threats and security technologies to improve posture.
• Assist in security awareness training for staff on firewall operations.
• Mentor junior analysts on firewall management and incident response.
