Job summary

EY is seeking a Firewall Operations Solution Architect/Network Sensing Analyst to deploy and manage firewall and network sensing solutions across client environments. You will monitor traffic, analyze security events, respond to incidents, and support problem resolution to uphold network integrity.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, develop firewall policies, and assist in audits while staying current with threats and security technologies to strengthen EY's security posture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or cybersecurity.
• 2–3 years in network security operations focusing on firewall management.
• Hands-on experience with firewall products.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols and security principles.
• Experience with Checkpoint and Tufin.
• Familiarity with Splunk and network visibility tools.
• Certs such as CISSP or Security+ are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Configure, manage, and optimize firewall solutions to enforce security controls.
• Monitor network traffic and security events to identify threats.
• Analyze security incidents, perform root-cause analysis and remediation.
• Collaborate with incident response teams to respond to incidents.
• Develop and maintain firewall policies and documentation.
• Support security audits and assessments.
• Stay updated on threats and security technologies.
• Assist in security awareness training and mentor junior analysts.
