The position requires Fire Fighter I & II, EMT license, CPR, and a minimum of five years as a professional firefighter, plus a valid driver’s license. A strong commitment to safety and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; Associate's or higher preferred.
• 5 years of experience as a professional firefighter.
• Fire Fighter I & II certification required; valid driver’s license; valid CPR certificate.
• Advanced Emergency Medical Technician license required.
• Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively; strong teamwork and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency calls with speed and safety.
• Provide EMS according to licensure and protocols.
• Attend incidents including fires, accidents, floods, spills.
• Conduct fire suppression, ventilation, overhaul, salvage, and cleanup.
• Perform search and rescue as part of a team.
• Ensure personal and public safety at all times.
• Assist in inspections and enforcement of fire codes.
• Operate and drive fire department vehicles per laws and rules.
• Maintain familiarity with plant roads and buildings for rapid response.
• Inspect and maintain suppression equipment and systems.
• Prepare statistical reports and participate in training and drills.
