Job summary

Qualifications

• Specialized experience in complex firearms and criminal enforcement operations.
• Coordinating collaborative operations with federal, state, and local agencies;
• Providing technical support/assistance to counsel for legal determinations and testimony.
• Directing and supervising a team, assigning tasks, and evaluating performance.
• Providing training to field office staff including SAs, IOIs, and IRSs.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, evaluate, and coordinate firearms technical matters.
• Provide authoritative technical guidance on firearms laws to management and field offices.
• Supervise Branch personnel and evaluate work performance.
• Design and deliver advanced training and curricula for law enforcement professionals.
• Advise Division Chief on policy and operational issues and propose high-level solutions.
