Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience conducting complex firearms and criminal enforcement operations.
  • Coordinating collaborative operations and providing technical support across federal, state, and local levels.
  • Providing technical guidance to ATF counsel and support for legal determinations and testimony.
  • Directing and supervising a team, assigning tasks and evaluating performance.
  • Reviewing work of other FEOs and providing guidance on firearms investigations.
  • ATF Certified Firearms Enforcement Officer (FEO) with specialized experience.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop, direct, evaluate, and coordinate firearms' technical aspects.
  • Provide expert guidance on firearms laws to management, field offices, and agencies.
  • Exercise full supervisory authority over Branch personnel; assign, review, and evaluate work.
  • Design and deliver instructional programs and curricula for cross-jurisdictional enforcement.
  • Advise Division Chief on policy matters and operational challenges; formulate high-level recommendations.
