Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety is seeking skilled technicians to independently install, service, maintain, and repair fire sprinkler systems across job sites. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and ensure compliance with NFPA standards while documenting work thoroughly.

Candidates should have 5+ years of experience, a high school diploma, and a clean driving record. A company vehicle may be provided; travel to sites is required as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience performing installations, service, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems.
• Strong knowledge of fire sprinkler systems, service procedures, and applicable codes.
• Must have a clean driving record and active driver’s license (if driving is required).

Responsibilities

• Independently perform installations, service, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems.
• Diagnose system deficiencies and perform corrective repairs.
• Use hand tools and testing equipment to complete assigned tasks.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA standards and local codes.
• Accurately and timely complete required documentation and service reports.
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal team members.
• Guide and support entry-level technicians and apprentices.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Travel to job sites as required.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
