Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety seeks a skilled Sprinkler Technician to perform service, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems at commercial and industrial sites. You will diagnose issues, test with proper tools, and ensure compliance with NFPA standards and local codes.

This role requires a high school diploma and 2+ years of experience in fire sprinkler systems. NICET I+ is preferred; a valid driver’s license is required. Travel to job sites is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of experience with fire sprinkler systems.
• NICET Level I or above preferred.
• Must have a clean driving record and active driver's license, if required.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform service, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems.
• Diagnose system deficiencies and perform corrective repairs.
• Use hand tools and testing equipment to complete tasks.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA standards and local codes.
• Accurately complete service reports.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Travel to job sites as required.
• Support and mentor entry-level technicians and apprentices.
