Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety, LLC is seeking a dedicated Sprinkler Technician to perform service, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems in customer facilities. You will diagnose issues, complete service reports, and ensure compliance with NFPA standards.

The role may include supporting junior technicians and traveling to various job sites. A high school diploma and relevant experience are required; NICET certification is preferred. Excellent safety practices are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in the fire sprinkler systems.
• NICET Level I or above preferred.
• Strong understanding of fire sprinkler systems and service procedures.
• Must have a clean driving record and active driver’s license (if driving is required).

Responsibilities

• Independently perform service, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems.
• Diagnose system deficiencies and perform corrective repairs.
• Use hand tools and testing equipment to complete assigned tasks.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA standards and local codes.
• Accurately and timely complete required documentation and service reports.
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal team members.
