Job summary

S.A. Comunale Co., Inc. in Reading, PA, seeks a seasoned Sprinkler Design Supervisor to support layout technicians and drive revenue growth for Sprinkler Operations. You will work with design staff and field teams to ensure accurate, compliant designs and timely project delivery across multiple markets.

The role requires extensive sprinkler design experience, leadership ability, and a focus on safety, quality, and NFPA standards. Strong coordination with sales, PMs, and designers is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 10+ years of sprinkler design experience is required.
• 5+ years in a management position is required.
• NICET Certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of NFPA guidelines is required.
• Experience with AutoSprink and/or HydraTec systems is required.
• Experience with Navisworks and basic knowledge of Revit is required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Attend sprinkler design meetings and coordinate with subcontractors.
• Follow through with design items for each project.
• Coordinate with sales, project managers and designers for required information.
• Update pipe logs and headcount sheets for projects.
• Travel to job sites for on-site design surveys and field checks.
• Supervise Sprinkler Design Department staff and assist in hiring/training.
• Provide technical design guidance to owners, architects, and general contractors.
