Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC seeks a Sr. Fire & Life Safety Program Specialist to own the full lifecycle of fire protection on our industrial and aerospace campus in Texas.

You will manage maintenance and upgrades to fire alarm systems and oversee design, permitting, and installation of new suppression systems. Reporting to Facilities/Maintenance, you’ll act as the technical authority for fire alarm design, review vendor submittals, coordinate with AHJ and insurers, and lead hands-on

Qualifications

• NFPA 72 and NFPA 25 compliant maintenance, testing and ITM of fire alarm systems.
• Project management for fire suppression and sprinkler installations, including budgeting and scheduling.
• Technical authority for fire alarm design and programming; review submittals and shop drawings.
• Hands-on troubleshooting and repair during emergencies and impairments.
• Collaboration with EHS on hazard mitigation and emergency readiness.

Responsibilities

• Manage maintenance, reliability, and upgrade program for existing fire alarm systems.
• Provide project management for new fire suppression and sprinkler installations.
• Review and approve fire alarm and sprinkler designs, submittals, and shop drawings.
• Direct troubleshooting and repair of fire alarm and suppression systems with contractors.
• Identify and mitigate fire hazards; coordinate with AHJ, insurers, and regulators.
• Maintain documentation, as-builts, and ITM records; ensure code compliance.
