Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC seeks a seasoned Mechanical Fire Protection Engineer to support Fab 62 construction in Chandler, AZ. You will lead fire protection design, sizing, and field walkthroughs ensuring NFPA compliance and on-site execution with subcontractors and vendors.

The role requires a mechanical engineering degree and extensive experience in fire protection systems, piping, and project deliverables across semiconductor facilities. On-site work at Chandler, AZ is expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with 5–12 years of fire protection and plumbing experience.
Professional license in a recognized licensing board is preferred.
Experience with greenfield or brownfield semiconductor projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

Independently specify fire protection systems and sizing to meet project demand.
Review PFDs, P&IDs, specifications, datasheets and supplier documents.
Lead design review meetings with subcontractors and customers at site.
Troubleshoot field issues, ensure conformance to NFPA and project criteria.
